Product servicing and maintenance
Our trained engineers can repair, maintain, test and service your equipment so that you don’t have to go without. If we need to replace or send back an item then we will ensure that you have a replacement while yours is being fixed.

Home assessments
Byw Bywyd is owned and managed by a former Occupational Therapist, who provides home assessments should you not be able to visit the showroom.
Should you need adaptations in your home or a specialist chair, our former Occupational Therapist will specify, supply and organise installation of the correct equipment. We also have products on display in Dinas where you can come and try out products such as beds and chairs, and discuss your requirements with staff who have years of experience in prescribing the correct equipment.
Hire of equipment
Many of the items we sell are also available to hire. If you are visiting the area, waiting to be discharged from hospital or would like to hire a product before you decide to buy, we are happy to help. Mobility scooters, wheelchairs, beds and chairs are available at competitive prices, and the hired equipment will be delivered promptly to your home, hotel, caravan or other holiday accommodation.
Advice and signposting
If we can’t help or provide the equipment you’re looking for, we are always happy to advise and signpost you to the right people who can help. We work closely with Local Authorities and other agencies who can maybe access funding or equipment you are entitled to.
